Master of Business Analytics and Bachelor of Commerce (Business Analytics)

What’s your background?

I was born in Dubai and later moved to Australia to further my studies and gain international experience. My academic journey started with a Bachelor’s in Business Analytics in India, and I recently completed a Master’s in Business Analytics with a focus on AI. During this time, I found that moving between countries and adapting to new environments really shaped how I view the world and approach problem-solving. Alongside my studies, I took on part-time roles and internships, which gave me exposure to different industries and working styles. These experiences sparked my interest in the dynamic nature of consulting—where every project feels like a new challenge and a new chance to grow.

Why did you choose Escient?

I chose Escient because of its genuine focus on people—whether it’s clients, team members, or the broader community. What really stood out to me was the emphasis on creating meaningful impact while staying grounded in strong values. I was drawn to consulting for the variety, the challenge, and the opportunity to keep learning, and Escient felt like the right place to do that in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What did you like about the Graduate recruitment process?

What I really appreciated about the Graduate recruitment process was how human and intentional it felt. Every interaction was genuine—people were clearly interested in getting to know me beyond just my resume. From the initial screening to the final assessment, the process was created to challenge me, introduce new areas of focus, and encourage self-reflection around where I want to grow. The feedback from the Escient team was supportive and constructive, and by the end, I felt confident that I’d found a workplace that not only values individuality but is also committed to helping me become the best version of myself.

What is a highlight from your time in the Graduate Program so far?

The pace of the Graduate Program has kept me on my toes, in the best way possible. Every week brings something new. It’s been a crash course in consulting, but also in confidence. I’ve learned to navigate ambiguity, ask better questions, and back myself. It’s exciting to feel like I’m not just learning the ropes but actively shaping the kind of consultant I want to become.

What do you think makes a good Escient Graduate?

Being curious, adaptable, and open to feedback are key traits. At Escient, we value people who take initiative but also ask questions. A great Graduate is someone who’s willing to learn, unlearn, and grow — and understands that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. It’s okay to not have all the answers; what matters is being open, reflective, and always ready to learn. And above all, being a supportive team player who grows with others.

What has been your biggest achievement so far as an Escient Graduate?

One of my biggest achievements so far has been contributing meaningfully to a client engagement early on. It pushed me to step outside my comfort zone and adapt quickly to new ways of working. I’ve also had the chance to get involved in a range of projects internally— which has helped me build confidence, develop new skills, and start shaping the kind of work I want to grow into.
